Drum Dad & Bass Boy are a father-and-son duo and the world's first multigenerational drum and bass project, by now one of the most exciting acts in the Austrian scene. Bass Boy and I have known each other for a long time, and I am beyond happy that we finally managed to make a song together.
A classic, reimagined with punch
Together with the two of them and singer Clara Marie, I wrapped the timeless classic "Feeling Good" in a modern drum and bass sound: driving, full of energy and with a seriously fat second drop. Exactly the kind of track I love: a familiar melody told fresh and new.
Back on Garde Music
"Feeling Good" is out on Garde Music, the label where I already celebrated one of my biggest successes with "Sick and Tired". Releasing the next track there feels exactly right.
Music connects
For me this song shows once again what music can do: it brings people together. A father, a son and a mayor, and in the end all that matters is that it grooves.
